Symposium on New Interpretations of the Civil War: 1863: Struggles East & West. KSU's Civil War Center, in conjunction with the Kennesaw Mountain National Battlefield Park, presents noted Civil War historians Larry Daniel, Larry Hewitt, Richard McMurry, and KSU's Brian Wills on Saturday, March 23, 9:00 a.m. at the KSU Center. A continental style breakfast begins at 8:15 a.m.

Daniel will discuss 'The Western Theater - The Mistakes Made,' Hewitt will provide insights on 'Port Hudson: The most Photographed Battlefield of the Civil War,' McMurry will deliver a lecture entitled 'Getting Right With Gettysburg,' and Wills will share information on 'The Logic of Logistics: The Suffolk Campaign of 1863.' 

On Friday evening, March 22, beginning at 6:00 p.m., enjoy the music of Ross Moore and heavy hors d'oeuvres at the Marietta Museum of History. Please plan to attend these special, free admission events.
