Join the Department of Student Volunteerism & Service for the 12th annual KSU Day of Service! Serve our community alongside 800+ students, staff, faculty, alumni, and community members.

The event will begin with a kick-off on the Kennesaw campus. All event participants will receive an event t-shirt and breakfast. Transportation will be provided to select service sites. Listed event start and end times are inclusive of kick off event and travel times to/from service sites. All participants will serve for three hours, which will be documented in GivePulse.

Registration Information: Each adult registrant must register for this event on GivePulse. Registration is required to participate in the event: REGISTER HERE

Registrants are only permitted to sign up for ONE (1) service project. Please avoid signing up for multiple projects.
Some service projects have provided transportation to and from the site. If you require transportation, please ensure you sign up for a site that provides it.

Minor Registration: All participants must be at least 11 years of age to participate in the Day of Service. If you wish to register a minor, an adult must register and add them on their behalf. Additionally, please email dayofservice@kennesaw.edu to receive a copy of the 2026 Day of Service event waiver. This form must be completed and brought at check-in.

Registration Deadline: To provide us with an approximate head count for food, t-shirts, and volunteers, we would greatly appreciate all registrations by March 28th by 9:45am. There are no opportunities for walk up registration.

Transportation: Transportation is provided for select sites and is listed in the title description of each service project. Participants needing transportation are expected to sign up for a project where it is provided. For students on the Marietta campus, a Big Owl Bus Charter will be available to transport you to the Kennesaw campus. Loading of these buses will take place from 7:45 AM to 8:15 AM at the bus stop outside the Joe Mack Wilson Student Center.

KICK-OFF EVENT: Check-in will begin at 8:30AM in the Siegel Recreation Center on the Kennesaw campus. Attendance at the kick-off event is required. For students on the Marietta campus, a Big Owl Bus Charter will be available to transport you to the Kennesaw campus. Loading of these buses will take place from 7:45 AM to 8:15 AM at the bus stop outside the Joe Mack Wilson Student Center. These buses will depart at exactly 8:15 AM. There will be a student site leader present to facilitate loading of the buses.

You will receive your event t-shirt, breakfast, and the address of your service site location at the kick-off event. Addresses to sites will not be provided to volunteers who are not present at the kick-off event.

PARKING: If driving to campus, participants are expected to park in the East Parking Deck located at 305 Hopkins Drive, Kennesaw, GA 30144.

BREAKFAST & T-SHIRTS: You will grab your Day of Service T-shirt and breakfast when you arrive! Breakfast is provided.

WHAT TO WEAR/BRING: All participants are expected to wear clothes they do mind getting dirty in, including long pants and sturdy, closed-toe shoes.

Please consider bringing the following items, especially if you have registered for an outdoor site:

Reusable water bottle - Water bottles will NOT be provided.
Hat
Sunscreen
Bug spray
Gloves (Participants are encouraged to bring their own gloves; however, we will provide gloves for sites that have requested volunteers have gloves.)
Snacks (if you’d like to snack while at your site)
