Book Chat | How Learning Works: Conclusion

Facilitator: Michele DiPietro

A grounding in the learning sciences is crucial for any student success efort. In the second edition of the popular "How Learning Works" (100,000 copies sold, translated into 6 languages) CETL Executive Director Michele DiPietro and his co-authors review the research on learning and syntesize it in 8 interrelated principles. In this series, we will read and discuss the book through the year, focusing on one principle at a time. This session focuses on the conclusion of the book, which turns the lenses on us educators as learners of pedagogy. How do the 8 principles apply to ourselves? Each session can be attended individually. The first 18 new registrants will receive a free copy of the book.
