Choosing Pedagogical Strategies: An Overview of Evidence-Based Approaches to Teaching and Learning
Facilitator: Meghan Bankhead
Do you wish there was a better way to get students in your courses involved in the learning process? The term pedagogy might be described as an overall approach to how we facilitate the learning process for a group of students. In this workshop, we will explore three categories of pedagogical approaches. These three areas focus on engagement, collaboration, and reflection. During this workshop, we will try strategies related to these areas and walk away with ideas for manageable adjustments that we can make in our courses.
