Data science and analytics is at the heart of everything that an insurance company does, and Travelers is no exception. However, things have moved well beyond the actuarial tables of the past. Today, Travelers is pursuing a wide range of new analytics to assist with all aspects of its business.

Text analytics, image analytics, and a wide range of predictive modeling are all part of the mix today. In fact, Travelers has been partnering with the School of Data Science and Analytics for the past several years to pursue some novel data science applications together.

This session will talk about some of the interesting data science initiatives that Travelers is pursuing today. The Travelers team will also provide insights into what a career at Travelers looks like. They are hiring!
