Please join us on Thursday, March 23, 2023, for a visit from one of the College’s most successful alumni, Professor Ali Shilatifard! This will be his first time visiting campus since his graduation, and we would like to give him a warm welcome to KSU. Students will have the opportunity to meet Dr. Shilatifard from 5:00 to 6:00 pm in the Science Laboratory Building Atrium if they are unable to attend the lecture and reception.

Dr. Ali Shilatifard, Chairman and Professor of Biochemistry and Molecular Genetics at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine in Chicago, graduated from Kennesaw State University with a degree in Chemistry. Now, Shilatifard is a renowned cancer biologist, dedicating his career to revealing the causes of childhood leukemia and other cancers.
