Add to calendarHow can language instructors use Artificial Intelligence in ways that enhance creativity and
collaboration? This hands-on workshop offers an overview of maior tools and techniques
relevant for language instructors. Participants will leave the workshop with a basic
understanding of how Large Language models (Chat GPT, Claude, etc.) work, best practices
for interacting with them, and strategies for integrating them into the classroom to empower
students and spark creativity.

Dr. Mattia Begali has taught Italian language and culture for over twenty years. He is currently Assistant Professor of the Practice at Duke University, where he researches at the intersection of language pedagogy and the ethnography of digital practices.
