The fall 2021 ZMA, Last Wednesday Lunch program, will be virtual but LIVE! Please join us on the last Wednesday of each month at 12:30 pm for a presentation via Zoom. Each provocative talk will explore unique connections or underpinnings to exhibitions on view this fall. We look forward to hearing from the following wonderful scholars and artists about their amazing projects.
- On August 25, Cynthia Nourse Thompson, ZMA Director of Curatorial Affairs, will speak about curating the fall exhibitions and her ongoing research at the Louise Bourgeois archives in New York City.
- On September 29, Printmaking Professor Valerie Dibble and Dr. Carol Pulin, Director of the American Print Alliance, will discuss the creation of the exhibition September 11, 2001, Memorial Portfolio from The American Print Alliance, on view 9/10 – 10/2 in the Fine Arts Gallery, Wilson Building.
- On October 29, Alissa Tertichny, a Clinical Case Manager and Counselor with Kennesaw State University's Counseling and Psychological Services, Registered Yoga Teacher, and Certified Art4Healing® Facilitator, will present "Art as a Therapeutic Tool in the Work of Counseling."
- On November 17, Dr. Reid Masters, Minister of Music at First Presbyterian Church of Fort Lauderdale and Co-founder & Assistant Director, Kinnara Ensemble, will share his presentation, "Hugo Distler's Totentanz: Pioneering the Immersive, Multimedia Experience."
