Responding to student writing often takes more time than any other teaching responsibility. In spite of the challenges, we need to find ways to respond to student writing in productive and meaningful ways. In this interactive webinar, we will debunk some myths about responding to student writing, review assignment design, and share efficient approaches to responding to formative and summative assessments. We will also review rubric designs, checklists, and commenting protocols in any modality. Current or future graduate student teachers and faculty are welcome.
