The Center for Young Adult Addiction and Recovery will host a naloxone training session for graduate students that will teach how to administer naloxone, a medication that can reverse the effects of an opioid overdose.

Training is free for KSU graduate students. Each person who attends and completes the training will be given a free Naloxone kit.

At the end of this training, the participants will be able to:

  • Identify potential warning signs of an overdose
  • Operate and administer Naloxone in the event of an overdose
  • Identify how Naloxone works
  • Understand the Georgia Medical Amnesty Law
