Robert N. Johnson (PhD., UNC-Chapel Hill, 1993) is a professor of philosophy at the University of Missouri. His research areas include moral philosophy, meta-ethics, and Kant’s moral philosophy. He is the author of Self-Improvement: An Essay in Kantian Ethics (Oxford, 2011), co-editor (w/Michael Smith) of Passions and Projections: Themes from the Philosophy of Simon Blackburn. (Oxford, 2015) and (w/Mark Timmons) Reason, Value and Respect: Kantian Themes from the Philosophy of Thomas E. Hill, Jr. (Oxford, 2015), as well as numerous papers in moral philosophy in Ethics, Philosophical Quarterly, and Philosophical Studies.
