About this Event
Add to calendarNeuroinclusive learning environments celebrate the natural diversity of human cognition and behavior, fostering spaces where all students can thrive. This workshop is designed to help faculty design learning environments that celebrate neurodiversity and support the success of all students. Participants will explore key concepts of neurodiversity, common challenges faced by neurodivergent learners, and practical strategies grounded in Universal Design for Learning (UDL). Through discussion and hands-on activities, faculty will: identify ways to offer multiple paths for engagement, expression, and mastery; design flexible learning experiences that reduce barriers; and apply UDL principles to promote accessibility, equity, and belonging for all learners. By the end of the session, participants will be equipped to create inclusive classrooms that value neurodiversity as a strength and support every student’s potential.
