 ning with real-world political dynamics in Georgia.\n\n \n\nSpeaker: \n\nE
 d Setzler has served the citizens of Cobb and Bartow counties in the Georg
 ia Senate since 2023. KSU is in his district. Prior to his election to the
  Senate\, Ed served for 18 years in the Georgia House of Representatives w
 here he led on some of the most challenging policy issues addressed by the
  state legislature. A graduate of the US Army Ranger School\, Ed earned a 
 BS in Physics from Furman University in 1992 and served on active duty for
  nine years as a US Army officer with leadership assignments in the US\, E
 urope\, North Africa\, and the Persian Gulf. Senator Setzler serves as Cha
 irman of the Senate Committee on Science & Technology and serves on the Se
 nate Committees on Health & Human Services\, Education & Youth\, State & L
 ocal Government Operations and Veterans\, Military & Homeland Security. Th
 roughout his legislative service\, Ed has worked a challenging full time j
 ob as a leader in the architecture\, engineering\, and environmental consu
 lting industry where he has directed nationwide design programs for more t
 han 20 years.
