In a world suspended somewhere between Heaven and Hell, The Last Days of Judas Iscariot transforms one of history’s most infamous figures into the center of a wildly imaginative courtroom trial. Written by Pulitzer Prize-winning playwright Stephen Adly Guirgis and directed by Jacqueline Springfield, the play blends sharp humor, raw humanity and philosophical inquiry in a theatrical experience that is both irreverent and deeply compassionate.

Through flashbacks, witness testimonies and surreal interrogations featuring everyone from Mother Teresa and Sigmund Freud to Satan himself, the production wrestles with questions of guilt, forgiveness, free will and the possibility of redemption. Time bends, history collides with contemporary language and sacred figures become startlingly human.

By turns hilarious, provocative and emotionally piercing, The Last Days of Judas Iscariot reflects the spirit of a season rooted in branching perspectives and difficult questions, inviting audiences to confront not only the fate of Judas, but the complexities of mercy, justice, and human imperfection itself.
