Introduction to Leadership

Facilitator: Chuck Powell, Leadership & Institutional Development Manager, USG

This workshop provides an introduction to the research on leadership. Participants will explore several of the field's core theories through case studies. They will then apply at least one theory to their own leadership context. The last thirty minutes will provide participants with an opportunity to engage in near-peer discussion in breakout groups assigned by role (such as faculty emerging leaders, chairs/directors, and deans).
