The NIH R15 mechanisms (AREA and REAP) supports small-scale research projects at educational institutions that provide baccalaureate or advanced degrees for a significant number of the Nation’s research scientists but that have not been major recipients of NIH support. We will focus on how to optimize your score by aligning your research proposal to the new NIH review criteria and/or addressing reviewer comments. This workshop will be especially beneficial for PIs who are new to proposal writing or who are working on a resubmission.
